GR86 Whiteline KDT925 Differential Bush Inserts

Had the whiteline kit installed today, first impressions are very good. Would agree with comments made already, little bit more low speed noise but much improved on initial acceleration.
Also fitted a super pro gearbox mount insert. View attachment 30310
Interesting, could you tell me more about the gearbox mount insert? What it is supposed to achieve and does it do what it’s supposed to??

Once I've done a few more miles I will report back. On theory it should reduce vibration and gear lever movement

It'll be the Superpro version of the Whiteline insert. Fills the void in the soft rubber bushing that the rear of the transmission sits on:

I also had the Superpro one on my GT86 for a week. It makes the shifts feel much nicer, more solid and with less slop. Almost feels like the gearstick takes less effort to push into gear, as less energy gets absorbed by the softness of the gearbox mounting.

However, I found it does add a fair bit of NVH and gear noise. You get a noticeable gear whine in low gears, which is amusing at first in a "because racecar" kind of way, but I got rid after a week. I ended up switching the entire transmission mount for the STI version, which is basically chunkier that the stock one - but it's still all rubber. So it improves the shift, but hasn't given worse NVH. Trade off is cost, and effort to install. But the same part also fits in the GR86 :https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/what-did-you-do-with-your-gr86-today.805/post-78828

My clutch sounds terrible with these installed at low speed. Lot of clunking going in and out of gear.

I may remove them. Or try removing some of them.

Try removing the forward 2 inserts from the diff inserts and keep the back 2. I had the same issue with all diff and subframe inserts in.
