GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Thanks Bob. Was the chap named ‘Rocco’ by any chance? I got his details yesterday from Barry at Zoldani, who uses him for all of his vehicles, so if Murdock can’t do it on Wednesday (delayed from yesterday) I’ll certainly give Rocco a call.
Yes, his name is Rocco. Great attention to detail and 'happy' to work in the rain!!

Tempted to buy the Blitz intake pipe too from Black Hawk but isn't cheap

Hi Kobayashi I have tried looking at the HKS exhausts on Black hawk online and all the prices are in yen. Is there a way of it displaying Prices on pounds. It appears to work out cheaper including shipping. Is there any import tax to be paid on top. I realize delivery may be a bit slow. Apart from Fensport is there any other uk suppliers?

Would probably avoid the intake as it ditches the bladder underneath the intake pipe, that's known to have a negative impact on mid range torque. The only one you can get away with is the resonator bolted to the side of the airbox.

Going to try and cancel it then. Is a lot of cash too. Why do they make them if it negatively affects performance? I nearly bought the metal one.

No idea why it does this. I converted on Google. You pay in Yen so there's exchange rate too. Paypal worked that out. Only Fensport and Funky Power I can vouch for but was finding UK suppliers were double the cost so gave Black Hawk a go.

In addition to a full interior and exterior detail, I ran an Aircon Bomb through the HVAC system. Man that stuff is strong! o_O

Thanks for the info sounds like the way forward for me

I think Njord may have won me a speeding ticket today. A surprise 40mph limit on a dual carriageway through some lights and there hides a van on the left… I think my Speedo was around 6mph out. Guess I’ll see if a letter drops through the door 🤬

Now that is a rare opportunity! Too good to be missed.
Fantastic comparison for anyone still deciding on whether to fit a ducktail, too.

I know your pain. Early on Mother's Day I went through a roadwork zone on the A14, had been crusing at 70, turned off cruise control and just let the car coast down, then realised that it was actually a 40mph limit rather than the usual 50mph...and I was doing 59 when I saw that the maintenance van sitting by the central reservation had a pair of cameras pointing out the back.

I was flying abroad for a few weeks the next day, so spent my whole holiday worried sick, as a bit of Googling made me think that I might end up with more than just the usual 3 points/£100 for being almost 50% over the limit. Imagine my relief when we got home 3 weeks later and there was nothing from Suffolk Constabulary on the doormat. Can only imagine perhaps the camera wasn't turned on that early on a Sunday so I got lucky. It's been 6 weeks now so I think I'm safe, but I know how nail biting it can be waiting for the postman after it happens.

I use Google Maps, and it gave me a warning, but not until I'd already seen it. Guessing someone tagged it after passing, so Google thought it was further ahead. And the van looked like a normal maintenance van, and was parked on the central reservation rather than the hard shoulder, so I assumed it was just one of the roadworks crew vehicles. Poor observation on my part so I'm lucky to have seemingly got away with it.
