GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Interesting. Link? Easy?
I followed the instructions in this video until it was time to connect tap into the oem cables.
The video makes it look easy but it took me several hours through a few days as I was extra careful and wasn't sure and actually made a mistake untaping the cables.
You need to get used to laying on your back in the footwell and be happy making holes through cable gromets
I will take a photo tomorrow showing the connected cables, I bought the Suma performance mirrors but the video instructions are the same

Spent too long in the foot well already :D
Although even without the indicators it would be nice to have wider angle mirrors.

Nice trip to Shaftesbury today with two of my boys. Left the eldest to hang out with his mates and had a nice 'Reeves' with number 3 son at the top of the hill, then took a walk down Gold Hill and the old part of town. A nice chilled day. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Which diffuser is that ? It looks neat.
Straight forward install process, but very fiddly for 2 of the bolts. You do need to drill for it, so it is a permanent addition.

Changed the reverse light bulbs for the LEDs I'd bought before I got the car. Easy job. Now when I back up the drive I should be able to see better.
Interior, boot and puddle lights next, but they will have to wait.

Currently doing a lonely business trip to Yorkshire. Knocking 500 miles off the run in process. Trying not to keep it running at constant RPM is a pain, holding back behind lorries and coming off and junctions just to come back on again.

I also replaced reversing bulbs with LEDs today. Makes a massive difference.

For some stupid reason I only bought two interior LED bulbs so I replaced the driver's side puddle light and the boot light.

I don't intend to replace the interior bulbs because I think they're bright enough as they are and I quite like the yellow light.

I got a 50 mile+ commute and I can't really fathom doing what you are doing, I just wish for some stop-start traffic but not traffic jams

Ayup ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž Which part of Godโ€™s Country were you visiting ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Now then! I'm at Ferrybridge just outside of Castleford. I have family in the villages east of Selby so I'll pop over and see them after.
Always love visitors who tries to learn the local language ๐Ÿ‘ but itโ€™s pronounced Naโ€™then ๐Ÿ˜‚ and at Ferry Bridge , one of our finest award winning tourist destinations ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

While youโ€™re up try and pop into The Motorist at Sherburn for a butchers , you canโ€™t be more than a few miles away , well worth a look around at what they have created out of an old shed ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

How long are you staying?

I also did the LED bulbs, but I am not sure about the interior ones - I think the originals look better.
