GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

The only thing I would change in this video is the Bradford weather! My yellow car appears in this video during the garage tour. Must have watched this about 50 times already

I knew that name MZR sounded familiar. Watched this video when it came out.
Always loved the 240Z. Cracking looking car.

Had to pop to the post office in town this afternoon. Parked in the small Asda next door. Chose a spot well away from the door, flanked by already empty spaces. Couldn't find an end spot, but thought "no way will someone park next to me."

Came back 10 minutes later - car parked on each side. The audacity.

I can trump this… second time taking it out properly, I parked in a large bay away from the shops in an end space. Got back and a Fiat 500 was parked next to it - happy days, bags of room.

As I was sat starting up, someone was reversing into the bay in front of me… and carried on going until they hit me. Was like slow motion, just knew it was coming, even leant on the horn as he was coming back.

Luckily no damage done (was so slow and plastic on plastic) and the kid who did it nearly sh@ himself! Still mega frustrating though and makes me nervous to go anywhere in it ever again!

Taken mine to work every day since I got it and fortunately I get there early. Everyone near my usual spot tends to be car fans too - I park as shown, with an RS3 to the left with a guy that leaves loads of room to get his door open, and a single car driver (no passenger) to the right (hadn't arrived yet) so no door dink risk there either.
And it's right outside the office door so I can watch him whilst making a cuppa

It's so irritating. I was also parked in an awkward spot in the car park - like, a cul-de-sac row, which you have to go out of you way to get to if you want to park on. So in the 10 minutes I was gone, two people had driven in, past lots of already empty spots, then into this out of the way row, down to the end, past more spots...and parked next to me. GO AWAY.


Yes, I even made a diagram. I was where the blue box is.

Filled up for a second time, got a bit confused as it was showing 3 bars left but only 52 miles. Don't think it's worked out the range properly yet, as was only 32 litres to brim it... Anyone else noticed this? Now it's full and saying something like 230miles. Showing 32mpg average aswell.

I found it takes at least 3 tank fulls to get a decent range. I now get 280 miles range on a full tank and 0 miles leaves about 6 litres in the tank.

This is the way to do it. Me and another are always first in and take these 2 lone spaces. I reverse in, he drives in forwards so no risk of door dings!
