Those new alloys look awesome, especially on a shiny black car - nice work!Despite having to do manual labour on the weekend I couldn't stand to have my car sat there with new wheels on but covered in filth.
I really shouldn't have committed to the hand Polish, but now it's done, with a fresh coat of wax I'm glad I did. I'm going to sleep well tonight!
I cant wait for the admiring looks from the twenty-something lads in town when I go to pick up my kebab later 🏳
Had to take a couple more pics

Haha I wish! I am not, but it is a guy well known in the local community!Wait. Are you Corners.cz? I flipping love those videos!![]()
He sure can drive. I love the on boards he does on those twisty back roads.Haha I wish! I am not, but it is a guy well known in the local community!
How does your car drive on those fat tires? I love the rpf1 setup!
Pics that make you...^^ Pics that go hard.
That's what cool kids say, isn't it?
What a two-car combo THAT is...I took a weekend off DIY and did an oil change on the GR86 (Millers 0w-30 incase its hot at Anglesey next weekend).
I didn't fit the new cosworth pads as the others still have so much left on them. I also rolled over 4,000 miles!
But apart form that, I cheated on it... Westfield new rear pads fitted, headlights aligned, exhaust heat shield refitted, and a few miles put on.

I got a touch-up kit from eBay and had a go at this.F**ksticks.
Today I discovered a substantial stone chip on the front:
Thumb shot attached for reference. Note that I do have quite petite hands/thumbs so this may look worse than it is to more sausage-fingered comrades.
Also - no thumb-shaming please; I'm between manicures.

I haven't got around to acquiring a touch-up kit as yet.
Sounds interesting - not heard of it before. Not too far from me (<30 miles/45 mins) so might be tempted too.Booked Rustival 2 which is end of Sept in the British Motor Museum in Gaydon as it's also doggo friendly and a few of my mates are going. Supposed to be good fun
Thoughts welcome!
As mentioned, option #4 will likely get a few stone chips too and you'll be even more annoyed. I'd go with option #2 and either casually lean on the bonnet at car shows/meets, or keep moving and getting in the way of people's line of sight when chatting about the lovely boxer sound whilst bemoaning the lack of OEM clothing storage arrangements ... To quote a very old advert "... I'm not helping much am I Dad?"Thoughts welcome!
Much as I hate it, I would say option 1. Stone chips are inevitable without physical protection, on any car which gets driven. If you get it repaired, you'll be pissed off the moment you get the next one.I got a touch-up kit from eBay and had a go at this.
What was an unsightly black blob visible from many paces is now a less-unsightly silver blob only just visible from two or three paces (and that's probably because I know it's there).
So my options are:
1. Ignore it, enjoy the car, and take a relaxed approach to the certainty of more chips accumulating over the coming months/years.
2. Embrace it as an alluring imperfection, like how people used to talk about Cindy Crawford's mole (ask yer parents kids).
3. Have it professionally repaired at, no doubt, considerable expense.
4. Buy a Cayman R instead.
Thoughts welcome!
This is a sound routine that I used to employ very successfully in my ‘youth’ after being well-served at the local Discotheque, when scoring a five-past-two ‘Double-Bagger’ for a bit of pre-breakfast entertainmentalways park nose-in wherever you go … shut your eyes every time you walk past the front…
I might look into op3 if it’s bugging you - some of those guys look like they can do great work with repairs. Would it be like an hour’s labour ££s ?? You could well get lucky and not get another stonechip for agesI got a touch-up kit from eBay and had a go at this.

Love the LFA. Still looks incredible today.I’m maxing out on car shows at the moment while the weather is decent. This weekend it was the Broadway car show in the Cotswolds
Great to see other folks’ GR86 and GRY making the very exclusive high end shortlist and featured in the show.
First time I’ve seen the bola alloys - sensational on this immaculate black GR86.
Personal highlight for me was this Lexus LFA - never seen one before, mega in real life.
And the 1000hp Supra, obviously.
