Great to meet you as well @CPH6R and finally chat with someone who also know all about the platformNice to meet @Mr_Hansen at Olivers Garage on Copenhagen seafront. Appreciated the spin to hear your exhaust in comparison to stock. Very much a mini meet unless there are any other Danish based owners lurking on the forum who want to get in contact.

I've been round the central belt all weekend (Highland Games) and avoided any wetness at all, which was nice.View attachment 30052Not a bad day at Culzean, the weather held out and the cars both had good spotsView attachment 30054
When the first, smaller, scratch appeared a few weeks ago I was not sure, but the larger one being in the same place but the opposite side of the car (it was parked the same way round) makes me think it can't be anything else...That's quite deep to be something just dragged across the paintwork. Intentional, you think?
Any chance that you/family could have caught it with some metal studs on the bottom of a bag or a buckle or something?Looked at the new scratch someone has added (to go with the one they already did on the other side)

No, I really do not think so, certainly not me, and my gf is reasonably careful.Any chance that you/family could have caught it with some metal studs on the bottom of a bag or a buckle or something?
Hope you get it sorted. No, I really do not think so, certainly not me, and my gf is reasonably careful.
Both times were (I believe) overnight on a Sunday while parked on the road outside my gf's house. One on the road side, the other on the pavement side.
I hope you haven't just jinxed your trip, crossing my fingers for you now...Off to The Seaside in a day or two, so I checked all the tyre pressures, tread depth, under the bonnet, fluid levels, and topped up the screenwash just like (affects Southern drawl) my daddy taught me to do.
Nothing wrong and nothing needs rectifying. Quite boring really, owning one of these modern Japanese cars. I almost wish something would go wrong so that I'd have something to fix and moan about*.
*I absolutely don't really.
Obliged - otherwise, expect a forum-based tantrum swiftly followed by a "wOt iS my cAr woRtH m8" thread topped off with a "what reliable 1980s Alfa Romeo or Lancia shall I replace my GR86 with" query...I hope you haven't just jinxed your trip, crossing my fingers for you now...
