GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Friday night, dusk, on the cat and fiddle.
A stretch of road perfect for the car.

Out for a spin this morning and now nudging on the door of 800 miles. Currently lamenting the lack of opportunity I have to drive it along with the fact I’m yet to properly open it up due to running it! Also not helped by the seemingly unavoidable traffic that presents itself whenever I do manage to get behind the wheel.
 
Currently on 718 miles, but taking it to Mallory Park tomorrow to visit the Retro Rides day, so a 230 mile round trip, will bring me nicely close to the 1000 mile mark. Will also be the first proper long run I’ve done in it. Leaving home nice and early in the morning, to at least get a little while of quieter roads👍
 
Went to the PistonHeads 25 Anniversary meeting at Bicester Heritage today. The show itself was surprisingly underwhelming, it really didn’t compare to the Sunday Scramble events at Bicester. It’s a shame as it should have been great, but it just didn’t seem to have been organised that well. There seemed to be at least as many performance cars in the general parking area as in the so called performance car parking area, and compared to a Sunday Scramble there were barely any cars inside the main compound. I did see there were a few other GR86s there in the car park though, and it was nice to chat with @GRpirate - sorry if you’ve ended up tempted to replace your exhaust now! 😂

Nope. It fitted without any problems into the passenger footwell and my passenger was perfectly comfortable on the way home. 2.4m x 150mm x 15mm. I did have a saw just in case.

Some of my mates attended and were similarly underwhelmed
