Hi got my mats from www.autostyle.co.uk.
@itcapetanslow arranged 10% discount for forum members. If like them, just email [email protected] with any questions. They have sample pictures. Lots of scope for customisation. End product is better than pictures show. Mats seem good quality, way better than what we get with a car. They cost me £65 delivered.

Did you manage to get a GR Logo on them? The company indicates that (due to copyright) brands/model names cannot be put on the mats but generic things (like GTi, Turbo) can. I think I may have to create my own Saltire 86 logo for stitching into the mat if I can't have the standard GR.
 
No logo, just got premium red carpet with bright red stitching and red drivers heel pad.
In my eyes, they lift and posh up black interior. Now I am scanning the Net for right GR86 logo to add.

Something like the GR Grill emblems or seat pins from AliExpress might work, they'd just need a bit of DIY to get them to secure properly.

So grabbed the eurotunnel on Saturday morning, sprinted down to Zurich for a stop over. (Hotel Belvoir Rüschlikon, was brilliant as well. Lovely views over the lake, with secure indoor parking if you want that, also only a mile or so off the motorway so not a pain to find).

This morning (Sunday) took me up to Stelvio pass which was absolutely brilliant. Got lucky on the roads and barely had any camper vans etc. a few Porsches here and there but mostly a pretty quiet day to enjoy it and the surrounding passes!

A good weekend. Needed to go to Aberystwyth to see family again so this time went via Llangurig up the A44, had a look at Borth first too. When it's empty, wet or dry it's a wild road and so much fun. It's suits the 86 so well. I adored it there and even at 7c in the wet it was very good, even if tyre temps would drop quick so you had to keep on it. Coming home was dry so track mode and more playing and was mega. Mileage now 8600 miles.

Parts from Fensport came really quick. Ordered Friday, came Saturday afternoon. I need an impact driver for the door pins so an excuse to buy one. Ordered a DeWalt kit with batteries and case, threw in a drill too as I'll need that for the house anyway #manmaths. That's coming mid week so mods will need to wait. Plus it's a wheel and arch liner off for the master cylinder brace.

If you’ve been sticking to a 4,000 rpm rev ceiling for the fist 1,000 miles of run in then I’m sure I won’t be alone with saying it’ll endear itself to you even more when you’re able to finally stretch its legs fully. 👍🏻

Mostly 4000 😏

Today I had the occasional moment where more beans were required. But the buzzer kept telling me off and flashing at me angrily 🫡

Only another couple hundred miles to go then full service can begin 😎
 
Not sure why they let stock get so low, I get it’s not a common item to be requesting but still. Hopefully they were not made by the same company that produced the mudflaps!

I used that to justify a fookin' big SDS hammer drill to secure my motorcycle wheel chock to the garage floor. Since then I've used it twice:
(1) to drill a small hole in garage wall. "Wow, this goes through easy" said I. Result; two completely blown out stone blocks on the inside because I went full hammer mode. Repair cost £80.
(2) to chisel a narrow cable channel in the downstairs toilet. "use this wire as a guide, just need to be careful" said I. Result; house security wiring spliced through, causing the 'anti-tamper' alarms to sound constantly (to the amusement of my neighbours). Cost to repair including call-out, £160.

So after Stelvio on Sunday, I drove across to Austria on Monday. Some great roads. From the Passo Stalle to Grossglockner was just incredible. Great roads for the GR86. Just clocked over 3500 miles now after almost 6 weeks of ownership.

Ended the day with a trip to Eagles Nest and then down to Munich for a couple of days, before shooting off to the Black Forest and then the Nurburgring. Definitely not as much of an autobahn machine as the McLaren is, but certainly just as fun (and not as anxiety inducing!) on the tight mountain passes.
