GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Fitted the newer style chassis bungs to replace the one that had gone awol
Still filthy, week off next week so will get it washed and waxed

I'm also intrigued in what way the 'newer style' ones are different? I've got some from a C-HR which I've been told are the same part number as the original to replace my one that's gone walkabout.

The bungs are located behind the front wheel, you can see them if you kneel down and look. The new ones seem to fit far more securely than the originals

Interesting, might try and pick some of those up. They look a lot more suitable than mine:

I waited a bloody week after that last round of Saharan dust had come down, nicely rinsed my car, then gave it a good bath... bam. Two days later, it looks as covered in Saharan dust as it did a week ago.

Cursed.

Fitted a new mirror to my car:

Not very exciting, but I fitted legal number plates as my son kept going on about the ones the dealer fitted not being quite legal - right size but wrong font.

Keeps him happy.

Applied 3M double-sided tape to hopefully help keep my rallyflapz tight to the rear bumper. The supplied pads came unstuck over winter - maybe my being too heavy handed with the pressure washer
Anyway applied tape today and stuffed some foam into the gaps between wheel and bumper to try and keep pressure on it whilst it grips up.

2nd attempt at removing the lanoguard

The dirt and debris that sticks to it was getting on my nerves so wanted it gone.

It does work though as the car is still brand new underneath the wax after nearly a year

Auto finesse products wouldn’t touch it so tried again today with gunk degreaser which worked really well to break it down then I pressure washed it off and then used wheel soap and water to give it a going over

The chassis rails and undertrays etc still have it applied but the visible suspension parts and wheel wells are now clean

Safety check done
Oils too (incl transfer, diff, gearbox)
MP4S back on
Gearbox Whiteline Polybush fitted
String Theory suspension kit fitted, corner weighted and went with 25mm drop
Camber bolts and geo for fast road set up!

All fitted at the brilliant RRG Macclesfield. Super friendly bunch, had a good chat with Richard and had a look around his modded GR!

It's why I drive an hour away to have my GR worked on here, just top quality service all round. Even the tyres pressures were bang on front and rear.

Oh and the drive back over the cat & fiddle wasn't too bad either!
