GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Hi @NickS I have just filled in an enquiry form for All That Gleams. Now that some time has passed, would you still recommend them? Thanks
I've used Tom at All That Gleams on my last two cars including the GR. Totally recommend him. He's done over 65 GRs and looks after Gordon Murray's collection. If they're good enough for him...

Thank you. That's good enough for me!

Finally took it off-road! 😜

Visited few doctors and took her sideways meanwhile. Expert mode was holding back the fun so don't like that one on dry tarmac.

Took it for a lovely drive around the mean streets of Coventry where I witnessed a lady lock the keys in her car with a 3 month old baby inside. Saw the coppers smash a window in then on my way back I witnessed a pair of nutjobs in an S3 and Golf GTi dangerous driving like they were being chased by The Rock in a Fast movie.

Cars a way too powerful these days. I used to drive fast in my Gti's when I was young but they only had 120bhp.

Plexiclick arrived, so I took off old plates holder and got shocked by how dirty the car is underneath, no idea how. But since it was filthy altogether, decided to give it a wash. Not detailed nor cleaned interior, but at least I can look at it now.
Installed Plexiclicks with some improvisation, since wasn't so confident plates would stay on, very flexible plastics... So I put some doublesided tape on the contact area. Went for a spirited drive and came home with both plates still attached to the car. (y)

Few moments later it felt like Lord of the Rings, I could see Mordor behind Rohan valley.

Removed fake sound, noice canceling and enabled the hold-button-window-down-thing. Preparing for the car to make its own noise with the resonated Milltek. Also removed Toyota advertising beneath numberplate. Small upgrade, but looks cleaner.

A word of advice: don't ever fall asleep on your jack with the key in your pocket and your car outside... especially not on a rainy night...

I think noise canceling canceling was one of the best "daily" upgrades. Was unbearable with my HKS.

Really? I had it off when I got my HKS but ended up putting it back on again as it was a bit loud.

I need to have another experiment.

Not strictly today, but Thursday to Sunday I dragged it to Le Mans and back; two up, back seats down, fully laden, cruising at...<ahem> appropriate speeds on 1,200 km of (mostly) empty autoroutes.

Parked up in the campsite it got a lot of attention. Like, seriously. Folk love this car! So many people wandered over to have a chat about it.

There was a yellow Gallardo next to us and the Yaris got as many folk stopping to take photos, and more than one person was heard to say they'd rather have the GR 😂

I Hope you found the sticker I left for you?!

Ahh, that’s was you! I admit I never checked out the website, the sticker is still in my glovebox 😂
I left some on cars like yours or on some places on the track in the hope they will be there next year!
