nope, already have updated gearbox torque arm which gives slight NVH, the engine inserts add nothing so only beneficialIs there a noticeable difference in NVH?
Bet the car thought you are doing emergency braking with hand brake, totally understandable. limiting anything else than trying to get car stopped.Had a friend in the car and decided to demonstratively yank the handbrake shortly while cruise control was on. It cut all power, gas pedal completely unresponsive and esp light flashing.
WTF.
I switched off esp and instantly I could accelerate again.
So don't do this.... on the motorway with traffic behind![]()

Took advantage of a break in the rain to burn half a tank of V Power. Spent a very enjoyable 30 mins playing with a couple of guys in an Exige and an Elise, joined by a Taycan at some point. Let’s just say he wasn’t as much of a fan of the roundabouts as we were![]()

I use it going through average speed check areas, and also occasionally in heavy motorway traffic.
I use the radar cruise-control, the lane centering, and ensure the distance setting is down to the lowest.
Works really well I think!
this is really bizarre as none of those issues appear on my car, I'm finding the radar cruise to be smooth in all conditions speeding up or slowing down when tracking other vehiclesCompared to other radar cruise implementations I've used it is uneven and slow to react in its throttle applications. Approaching a slower vehicle, even one only going a few km/h slower than you, gives a very obvious lift-off instead of an almost imperceptible backing-off. The transition could be a lot smoother.
In general, the cruise also doesn't transition well between very small throttle openings and coasting so when, for example, going down a slight slope it will pulse the throttle leading to a subtle but noticeable surge effect. This is something most cruise control systems nailed decades ago.
It's also slow to react, so if you are holding a speed, set the cruise target and lift off the throttle, it will generally lose up to 5 km/h before the cruise control kicks in.
It's cool that it (mostly) reapplies the same cruise setting after changing gear, but again it manages to lose a lot of speed in the process - much more than doing it manually - which is disconcerting if attempting to restore a previous set speed after, say, leaving a lower speed zone in a tunnel, town etc. as there may be other cars around and the drop-off can be noticeable. This means the ability for it to hold a cruise speed between shifts is best ignored.
My habit is still to turn off lane centering and long-press the cruise control button to get non-adaptive cruise control.Used the radar cruise for the first time ever
