We were exploring this area yesterday. Found some fantastic roads whilst searching for ECoTY 2023 roads. Conditions were great for us in the GR. 718 was having a little less fun though

I hurt her yesterday :(

Slightly grazed wheel on a kerb :( Only a very tiny little ding fortunately... that'll teach me from changing from contacts to glasses (in you weren't aware, it does muck with your perspective slightly so I expect that was the issue*)

* that's the excuse I'm going with, anyway, it couldn't be there's a moron behind the wheel.

Did you find the ECoTY 2023 roads? If so, perhaps you could share the details. I think there is a thread for good driving roads. if not there should be. Thanks.

Get "lazer" if you can. It costs about the same as Nitron and it's well worth it.

Also won't need servicing every 2 years.

Yeah I had laser eye surgery in my twenties and it was the best thing I ever did! (y) :geek:

Did find some good roads but not anything so exceptional that I wrote down the name. The conditions weren't great on the day though so some runs were hampered by snow.

We met up in Newcastleton and drove the roads in that area for a day. 2 in GRs, one in my Cayman. The roads around this area are definitely well suited to the GR. Felt a bit sorry for the Cayman most of that day 😂

Lots of ice on the road today so explored track mode for the first time taking the car up cheddar gorge and over the mendips. Always driven in sport but track seems to have more front end bite, at least in today’s conditions. Thoroughly enjoyed myself rotating the car and getting on power, such a confidence inspiring car.
