Bit like getting a new car, better then changing carsThanks. Wheels on Friday… Had the car nearly 2yrs and only now decided to make it my own!
It improves IAT and flow which is its actual function, hp increases are a bit of a sales pitch at there are so many variables and different circumstances. Add their turbo inlet, also flow tested, and you'll have pretty much as much as there is to gain on the inlet... Which is ballpark 10-15hp I suppose ...Does it have a hp increase on stock car? Eventuri communicates 15 hp I think. This looks like what i've been looking for.
No clue, intake should increase it logically speaking as it's not to dissimilar to the eventuriAnd do you get much/any increase in induction noise with it?
Ouch! Also gotta repair the scar from the Alps trip.

Got these beauties, gonna reduce static camber and increase caster for more dynamic.

It will. But I'm scared of increased NVH, we have very rough roads over here....&
I'm sure you're gonna love the DNAs!
Yes, great points about camber and caster and they should also improve steering feel.
I'm even inclined to think the suspension will work better.
Here also we have horrible roads, by any standard, so I guess my feedback could be relevant to you. But note I have some NVH by now (engine and gearbox inserts, front and rear polybushes, downpipe and hks exhaust) so could be an challenge to quantify NVH increase. It will. But I'm scared of increased NVH, we have very rough roads over here....
I will be interested to hear your feedback on the DNA's once you've had chance to try them.
Helpful info, thank you.Well, @DeanoC loved them and @Phil1291 chose them and even made a video for them, also complimenting their perfect fitment.
They're like human encycolopedias for this car and many others, so rest assured these top mounts are highly recommended.
@Onehp made a point above about NVH on certain road surfaces (I can't recall it being mentioned as an issue by anyone in the UK) and has previously posted about caster being a proper improvement with reference to actual chassis mods. He too has encyclopedia status, so worth considering if these points apply to you.
In my research, I'm stuck with regards to the concept of caster, as I haven't been able to find when, why and how too much would be bad.
There is, of course, the slight issue of cost; these are circa 20 times the price of Powerflex camber bolts, so if all you're after is camber (with no need to be able to adjust it at home) then these top mounts are probably an overkill. Unless you have aftermarket tyres so wide that camber bolts (with a bit of added negative camber) would not leave sufficient space between the tyre edge and the damper.
Not helpingThey certainly add a lot of 'feel' to the steering. That can be good or bad. I still think it's one of the best things I've done, you feel so connected to what is going on.
Not helpingIt's hard keeping the balance between user comfort, and delicious feedback.... short term always loved the latter, longer term however the lack of the former has shown up their annoying in your face realisation that one doesn't like one's car and one has gone too far.... it creeps on you until one day you realise one has taken it too far... for a daily that is....
