My GR Yaris is night and day different from what it was. Smoother idle, smoother throttle response and now pulls like a train. I got my GR Yaris back to how it was new. Will give it an Italian tune up on the motorway tonight to get some heat in it after lots of dailying in it. The OEM Denso coils were definitely degraded at 50,000km.
both coils and plugs can affect the smoothness if they're not in order or wrong for the tune engine is set for.

Mine is a bit hesitant on start at the moment (40k miles), think it’s time for a spark plug change. The front discs are borderline too so will probably fit a new set, just getting to that age / mileage where lots of things seem to be due and a reasonably big cost all at once. Luckily both of these are straightforward to do, so just the parts cost.

My mate called me for help the other day, as he couldn't fit a new oven in his honda civic. I didn't want the oven to beat the yaris as well. It was a snug fit.
Interesting as I’m in the same boat soon with identical mileage. Looking at alternatives to the PS4Ss. I actually left the Crossclimates on all summer which is very daft, not least how hot it has been, but my original alloys have a decent scratch in one of the rims and didn’t want dirt etc to ingress before getting it fixed. Never got round to that and it’s back to being a bit rainier so it’ll probably never happen.Finally time to swap out the original PS4S for some fresh rubber, 41k miles and 5 years into ownership. My mileage has been split between these and a set of Crossclimates though.
Was slightly nervous about handing over my CP wheels to the local Halfords Autocentre, but they did a tidy job. 4 x Bridgestone Potenza Sport Evos for £325 was too tempting. It's always a bit unfair comparing old (3mm left) and new rubber, but it's an absolute joy to drive through the twisty stuff. Steering feels more fun and positive, and dry grip feels dangerously unlimited

Finally sorted the exhaust gasket between the flat flange Whifbitz pipe and OEM-style Fujitsubo with the help of Collins Performance. I read @Philevo6 's thread Here and popped over to Congleton to grab one. Perfect fit. Old gasket was absolutely toast!

Yes winter wheels are at the ready, but I'm one tyre down after my bump in December, which dragged the tyre off the rim. They put an old mismatched tyre on and it's held air fine since then, and no visible damage to the tank-like speedline wheel so I'm eyeing up trying a set of the Crossclimate 3 Sports on them and hopefully won't need a new wheel. There's still over half the tread left on them though, seem to last forever!
