GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Some small stone flung by some unsuspecting passing vehicle cracked my windshield pretty badly. Got to get a new one. I guess the honeymoon phase is officially over.

There was a large gr yaris meet today in Japan and this wasn't even all the cars as there was a second large parking area. Interesting to see what mods people do and get to see a lot of the aftermarket parts in person. Everyone was represented, the rally replicas, the stance guys, the track weapons with no rear bumpers and massive aero. Naohiko Saito the lead engineer for the gr yaris also made an appearance. There will probably be some good footage on YouTube soon as I saw a drone flying about.

Я решил модернизировать подвеску. Наконец-то она у меня в руках — теперь начинается самое сложное: установка и настройка.
Цель модернизации штатной подвески заключалась в том, чтобы сделать ее более универсальной:
— Подводить для повседневной езды, обеспечивать плавный и комфортный ход в любых дорожных условиях;

Like some others have mentioned here, I have struggled with a bit of a rough idle lately. Got CRC maf sensor cleaner and sprayed it down about a week ago, and it seems to have solved it.

Very jealous of your scissor lift!
thanks it has been handy with any job (works well with my tiny cars - with larger cars the space is bit tight and more difficult to get car positioned but with my 4m cars no issue. Lifting the car was always PITA before but now you can do it in 2mins so it's definitely game changer, can recommend for anyone that has a space for lift, you won't regret.

Everything happens once for the first time.
Forgot work place keys home so had to wait 40min working in car until office doors officially open.
GR decided to lock itself while sitting in the car - thought this is fine and normal. Tested once opening the doors from inside even though they were locked, opened nicely.
Once time was up and office was open at 8am, opened doors again and bang - car alarm sets off!

Hadn't managed to set alarm before but maybe it was about time as Today 20.4 is my GR's 5th birthday! Well played Toyota!

Yes this seems to catch the kids and I out sometimes if they are waiting in the car while I pop into the supermarket. I usually remember to press the button to stop the internal sensor but sometimes we get into a muddle leaving the car unlocked or them opening the door or it locking itself - then I come out of the shop to hear the alarm going and them sat inside looking very embarrassed and a bit deaf!
