GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

If you've paid for it, use the thing how you wish!
Of course and thank you. Just commenting that PPF and immaculate, which are extremely visbile in the (social) media landscape, aren't the only options. And I generally do get the impression that you can get quite some "not very nice comments' if posting pictures of a dirty car, and more and more car enthusiasm is associated with cleaning cars than actually driving them. Relevant in that a GRY is one of the best tools to be out in all weathers and road surfaces, and have fun and to me it was the most boring when it was dry, sunny and even on relative remote roads you always find someone holding you up ...

That also a way to do it. Barely washing my cars, they clean up quite ok when it's time to sell and a little touch up here and there...

Cleaned up perfectly fine, the upper picture is for me the better one though...

(still here as the Zoo beats social media any day)

Nice result. What mods have you bolted on to achieve that power? :)
already Installed by myself:
DO88 intercooler and oil cooler
HKS spec L II exhaust
Piras Motorsport Intake
Forge Turbo Inlet

Litchfield installed:
Kelford EZ cams and valve springs
HJS Sports Cat
HEL Braided brake lines
Lamspeed baffled sump

They said they were surprised by the result as well tbh, their tuner was on it most of the day yesterday and was in at 5:30 this morning to tweak the map abit more and finished up about an hour before I got there to pick it up, absolutely top work.

Nice work!

Much to my surprise, the instructor at the Nurburgring drift school reckons the Yaris is an excellent drift car.

On my trip to the airport I saw a red one! Heading towards St Leonards on sea around Bexhill. I saw another yaris with gr badges but somehow it had 4 doors. I concede there is at least one gry in England...

First MOT this morning, tester loved it.

Sailed through no issues, though the tester did mention I'm getting close to the wear markers on the inside edges, something I was absolutely sure was happening anyway as it's a little bit more squirrelly than normal.

Had my friend in the car the other week and on the drive home I said "I'm going a bit easy as I'm less confident on the fronts than usual" and he turned to me and said "I dread to think what full confidence is like". I wasn't really even pushing!

Service on Friday. Yes I'm aware that's the wrong way round but a three year old Toyota, even with me driving isn't going to be failing why MOTs after 12k, on anything other than tires.

Went to Costco afterwards in Reading. Parked next to a red GR K33, and said hello to the owner and when I came back there was another one parked nearby. LP72 with a big nurburgring sticker, again in red.

I had to laugh earlier - I took mine out for a spin today after not having been out in it for two months and was reminded I'd gone to the length of protecting the interior by PPFing lower door card and interior plastic trim. đŸ˜‚
