I am coming from BMW to Toyota so I am well versed in expensive oil and cuddles.Mine has come to its 70,000km scheduled service at around 30,000km. When we bought these they came with capped servicing at $260 per service for the first 6 services. This service is just a look over and oil and filter change and the price is now $386 and a major (two look arounds?) Is $600 ish. So I think I will take over. I need to check the extended warranty rules but $1,000 per year for oil and a cuddle is crazy.
So the fine print:
"Extended coverage up tom7 years with unlimited kilometres* on Engine and Driveline (including Hybrid system) if your vehicle is properly maintained as per the vehicle's Warranty and Sevice book."
Congrats on the new car choice! You will be missed.Decided, bit sooner than anticipated, that I'm selling mine. Full story here: https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/hyundai-ioniq-5-n.6534/post-103295
Bit of a paradigm shift, end of ICE era and the beginning of something new!
Going to try various auction routes as the last car trying to sell privately was a nightmare, tyre kickers and no money all of them. That said, welcome to inquire in PM if not too far from Sweden...
Wil still check in now and then and see what's happening... thanks for a great 2,5 years dear Forum(members)!
I did too, M2 to GRY. Consumables are so much cheaper.I am coming from BMW to Toyota so I am well versed in expensive oil and cuddles.
Easy to become consumers, in the end I'm a driving enthusiast and the car is the tool.My thinking was that should get a car that I love to drive next 15 years. Maybe an impossible task.
I actually moved here for the driving (and cycling). The year I moved they put a 40 mph average speed check on the black mountain road then the 20 mph speed limits everywhere else.Quite a list today:
- Visited the Anglesey Circuit
- Saw the 1st GRY in Wales (a blue wrapped one on the A5 near Bangor @ 11h30 a.m)
- Driven the Evo- triangle
- and the Snowden Pass to finish the day off…
All of this was top: Wales is really worth a road trip!
Yeah - have to admit the speed limits seem a bit weird at times…I actually moved here for the driving (and cycling). The year I moved they put a 40 mph average speed check on the black mountain road then the 20 mph speed limits everywhere else.
The little fluoro nazis also like to camp out on the EVO triangle I’ve heard.
I’d love to do a trackday at Anglesey, looks awesome.
