Meguires Ultimate Wheel Cleaner

I’ve had two of the brushes over the last 20 years of car ownership (gulp), second one is still going strong with no bristle loss. It’s really stiff but with soft ends so doesn’t scratch the paint.

The wheel cleaner is nothing special but not acidic or caustic like some, and it’s quite viscous so sticks to the brake dust and dissolves it. The colour change really helps show where it’s been.
 
I tend to use Bilt Hamber for my bi-annual washes too.

Although equally good stuff (slightly gloopy, goes purple etc.) now seems to be available in shops so I've been trying other brands out. That wasn't the case a few years ago, Halfords et all all still sold that horrific acid stuff.

Not sure I'm ready to clean my wheels twice a year yet...

Yes, the best tuning you can do for your Yaris is to drive a small underpowered car for a bit then go back to it!

Just throwing in an alternative on the lively and nimble side. The feeling taking the GRY out again after a while is the same…..

Corroded is right: Driving the Mini and then getting into the GRY elicits the same feeling as using a shitbox and getting into the GRY, as the GRY is just so fun (and different to the Mini).

@ Ohehp: This is an R56 Cooper S Mini Challenge CH from 2011, my other daily. It weights 1215kg, has approx. 200HP and is equipped with a KW V3 and a Limited Slip Differential. I love to drive the car and switch between the Mini and the GRY every 3-4 weeks. And every swith makes me smile and wanting the car I am currently in.

As I am thinking of it: This would also happen if I'd been swithing between a 15year old Fiesta ST or a Miata to/from the GRY. So perhaps the "problem" is not the car. But it makes me keeping the cars longer which is a good agrument @ home... :)
 
I switch between the GRY and 172 Cup regularly and I enjoy driving both. I love the solidity, mid range grunt and grip of the Yaris, and I love the simplicity and rawness of the Clio. And the fact that it never beeps at me, ever, for any reason. You can drive it straight into a tree and it won’t intervene in the slightest, the first clue you’ll get is the taste of bark.
