So...

Sitting here and I can only count so many imperfections in my neighbours brick work..what did you do before your GRY arrived? :D

Sold my Fiesta so I can't even go on a drive! I end up looking at addon/mods to look at and reading these forums and being (very) slightly jealous of those who have collected theirs :D
 
I spent 9 months studying mudflaps 🤓

Spent far too much time on YouTube learning about car detailing, and picking up everything I needed and more to do the best DIY protection I could.

I resisted any mechanical mods until I had the car to try and get a feel for what I wanted to do with it, and even then am on my second exhaust.

I did buy a copy of pretty much every magazine with a review in it, and all the merch/brochures/paraphernalia I could find though 🤦‍♂️
 
I've bought all kinds of crap off AliExpress for the Yaris, as well as some foglight covers and half arranged the exhaust and vinyl. Not having delivery date has stopped me booking them in fully.


Other than that I've been buying lots of Lego and trying to pass the time ha

Lol - I am busy shopping around for some PPF in Yorkshire area, that's top of my list.

Considering I will have a 220 mile journey home when it's delivered, I may just trailer it up here to the PPF and then save up for cat back and wheels..

Bought about 6k worth of mods so far,ready to go on.:LOL:

Swotted up on everything about the GR,i know more than most owners. hahaha.

I bought a whole bunch of things, one of which I regret, the HKS panel filter, because I'm defo not going to use a foam filter...

I feel like I've got a fair amount in the loft now, Rallye badges, fog light kit, the carbon panels, a carbon gear knob and a few other bits and pieces... mostly smaller things though. I have my eye on a few body kits, and exhausts... just want to make it very slightly louder (honestly 595 levels would be fine), and introduce a bit of black to the edge of the car... the pearl white looks super with the contrasting black.

Only thing that has stopped me with those bits is my drive is a bit funny and has a lip itself, and I want to see what my clearances are like. Front should be fine, but less sure about the side skirt.
 
Bought a private plate , carbon arch guards , lanoguard and just got on with enjoying my life and family , and enjoying .. no enduring work 😏

I made a full size mock up of the car out of styrofoam, from photos. It had a rolling chassis and fully detailed interior, I spent far too long on it.

In fact, when the actual car finally arrived it was a bit of a downgrade. Went a bit quicker of course, but, be careful what you wish for.

Sometimes the waiting is the best bit…
 
Got my carbon mud flaps from Automotive Passion and booked PPF install

Got a garage full of bits waiting, driving my CX5 much harder since the turbo 86 went to pastures new. Now approaching 18months, getting frustrated you might say.

I sat and watched all four wheel arches of my 19 year old Merc C class get inexorably more rusty!
