GR86 V-Max

Just an idle question really, has anyone taken the GR86 up to V-Max where it stops accelerating and stays at it's 'top' speed?

(obviously on an unrestricted road, so Germany really)

Official figures says that 140 mph (225kph)

It's 228 km/h on 6th gear.

The tachometer is dead center at 6K RPM I believe? I've read somewhere, that in Germany, tuner was able to lift it and overall car is capable going beyond 250 although it's very slow at this point. Gearing itself is set to around 275 km/h on 6th gear but car is nowhere capable of achieving this speeds in stock form.

It's electronically limited to 140mph isn't it? With 230bhp and the gearing in 6th surely over 150mph should be achievable.

Even my 140bhp Audi A3 managed 140 on the autobahn.

It definitely does 140 leptons (in Mexico, Officer..) but don't do it on a windy day as the bonnet wobbles. myself the first time I saw it happen.
