GR86 Used price trend

I can completely understand that, hence why I've noted that it doesn't make sense "unless you have to", which in your case you clearly have a reason to.
 
Arnold Clark are quoting just over 27k for a similar age/mileage - personally I'd just bite the bullet and move on.

No affiliation to AC, but have sold 2 cars to them without issues.

Don't you just love it when someone starts asking questions, you get your hopes up and then they just vanish off the face of the earth.
 
Well only 39 GR86 for sale on Autotrader, £28k and above, 2023 cars are around £30k so all in all holding up very well, I’ve noticed the GR Yaris has lost a little ground since the MK2 was announced, 185 cars for sale, starting at a little over £25k but you need just under £30k for a 2021 Circuit Pack spec with under 10k miles.
I feel the GR86 values have bottomed and the last few new cars are finding homes will see second hand cars reduce in numbers.

As I mentioned earlier percentage wise the 86 and Yaris are about similar for used vs new sold. Don’t forget that a lot of the Yaris’s will be coming up to 3.5 years for the 1.9% finance or 2 years for the 0% finance so I suspect that will have far more impact than the mk2.

The real oddity is the people who want to buy the car, those who talk and then go dark for no reason. It's the slog of selling that I really don't enjoy, and the market doesn't make it any more fun at all.

Well we have just 35 GR86 and 195 GRY for sale on Autotrader today, interestingly 1 month back there was 40 GR86 and only 137 GRY.
Definitely selling more GRY as they jockey for the MK2 release.
 
In Finland zero gr86 and four gr yaris for sale. We are a small market but looks like folks who got theirs seem to like them well, i.e. Not that willing to sell.

At the same time, we now have 200 GR Yaris for sale, The GR86 is a very unique and limited offering sports car by any standard, recently Harris from top gear certainly rates it highly, being extremely good, limited, and never to be repeated bodes very well for future value.

As I’ve said time and time again based on a percentage of the amount sold they are the same.

I would actually be more worried about the amount of 86’s for sale than the Yaris when looking at that percentage as for a large number of them they are at the end of their finance deals and have been on sale for over 3 years now the GR86 nowhere near as long.

There’s 116 GT86 & 25 BRZ for sale on autotrader right now that’s probably where you should be comparing.
