long term owners have outlined another weak area that can fail over time from regular engine vibration is the turbo oil return pipe, spotted a used pipe on the Bay and took just few minutes to cut the pipe and install some flex now ready to fit thus avoiding future disappointment, good part is this is not a pressure oil line just gravity fed return to sump and just need to be oil tight with simple clips

The area next to the turbo, cat, and transfer case gets really hot. Use a proper high-temp hose or it'll break down pretty quickly. I'd also throw some heat sleeve over it.

for sure does get hot there, the turbo end of this pipe does have heat shield around it and is bolted to the bracket sticking out in the image
