I have the standard one and it was around the cost that DAZGR said.
I think it is just right. Not loud like the boy racers tend to go for and many then regret it. It has a distinct burble when ticking over but comes into its own at about 3k revs and then it sounds great because of that resonating tube that runs alongside it.
When I look at the new MK2 and think "should I?" the same thing hits me straight away is my HKS exhaust probably won't fit as the MK2 looks wider.
A lot of money but worth it. I always wonder about spending a lot of money just to save a small amount of weight especially when the driver can probably lose a few Kg and costs nothing.
