I think with no movement on the app, no request for full payment (deposit paid so far a few weeks ago) and Christmas/Snow/Toyota online shut down on 22nd I've resided myself it'll be a 2023 delivery sadly, something to look forward to in the post Christmas lull which is January I guess...

Did your dealer advise you they will need a GR specialist to do the PDI as well? I thought it was just an excuse they were using to give themselves some time for the handover lol.

I might do the same regarding the handover instructions. I've pretty much asked them to do a touchless clean, but not sure I can trust them with it, and I definitely don't want someone trying to scrub glue residue off with a dirty sponge on my car.

The PDI is done by normal garage techs, the GR specialist wanted to do the handover as it would probably be his only one.

I thought this also, Toyota Online did say deliveries/handovers were possible between Christmas and the New Year.

However, as you say, lack of updates etc and the closer we get the less likely it will happen this year.

Got confirmation my car has arrived at the dealer, going to hold off until January 2023 to get it registered and collected. So no skids in the ice this week

I did yes, then removed it myself whilst there. Ceramic coating booked in for Friday, so hopefully no swirl marks for them to need to polish out.

It's his ceramic coating I've bought to do it myself. From what I've seen from videos, as long as prep is done well, applying is literally wipe on and wipe off. Looks good stuff

Just looking at the UK configurator and saw that there are optional extras for exterior now listed as part of the order process but also prices seem to have gone up since others have had quotes for the ducktail and is Nitro Blue Smurf Blue? Like Europe not a colour option anymore if so

DAR paint code is the electric blue. They have standardised the price now, we know the spoiler itself is £348, they are adding a bit extra to cover fitment. I imagine these will only ever been fitted at the dealer and not the factory.

Because of WLTP probably. Gets better stats with it off.

I think that is a factory fitted price for the spoiler. My dealer sent me a print off that they get through the parts system and it states £511.91 fitted (or £348.11 retail only).
