GR86 The GR86 “The Orders / Owners List / GR86 Register”

OK folks it’s been a very busy day all around and in the majority of cases it’s been a good one, sorry for anyone who’s not managed to get confirmation yet. The information on here has been invaluable and thanks to everyone for sharing , it’s one of the reasons we are here 👍👏🍺.

I‘ve tried to keep the order list in post #1 accurate, any discrepancies will get fixed 👍

As the poll was apparently not capturing things accurately I’ve removed transmission choice as the majority are 6MT and I can capture the 6AT numbers separately. The Poll has been reset so please vote for the colour you have finally decided upon and we will see how it looks 👍

I don't think so... It looked like this was an extra in the US models. Worth taking a look on their configurator to see what accessories could be available.

I really can't see there being any more UK allocation for GR86's this year. The Supra in it's first year had a limit of 300 cars.

Reason for this is the guys in the US have been on a waiting list for the past couple of months for both the BRZ and GR86. To me it looks like Japan got its allocation of BRZ's first, as they are all made by Subaru on one production line, then it was the GR's turn. Then once they'd filled the Japan allocation, the US was next with BRZ first followed by GR's. Australia are currently getting there allocation of BRZ's, and soon the GR. Europe will be after, then us.

Once we've got our allocation I suspect they'll repeat the process.

I used them last year to sell a car and I agree they were excellent. This car is a 12 year old Launch Edition Evora though so a bit more niche... Not sure if that means it'll be easy to sell or not......
 
When I was collecting my deposit from my dealer he told me that when the GR Yaris first went on sale they already knew there would be a further allocation after the first one sold out. He said it wasn't the case with the 86 and all they knew was there would be an initial allocation.

Not that silly...one of the reasons I love my GT86 is that it's a great blend of fun car that is still relatively comfortable and practical for everyday use. So I am too am looking forward to a few of the little extras the GR has to offer - dimming mirror, parking camera, etc. One thing I would really love is mirrors which automatically dip down when you engage reverse - I'm paranoid about scuffing a wheel when parking, even more so with the new 18" wheels.

Couldn't agree more. RWD NA Manual is the attraction but heated seats, carplay, folding mirrors and a reverse camera are the things i'm so used to in a company car that I just wouldn't get on the S2000 I was considering

Same for me and rear parking sensors, not that I can’t park… I know it has a camera but I’ve never really got on board with cameras and like to look around myself but hear the beeps haha.

Does it have sensors? It mentions camera, I hope it has both... personally I would prefer sensors over camera, but obviously both would be amazing.
