Got my order in, just waiting for the confirm I.D bit to be sorted, not sure if they put your order on the factory system before this is confirmed

I assumed he meant sold out but that doesn't seem to be the case -- I created a new account and the order went through fine this time, an electric blue manual! If anyone has the same issue, the only difference on my second attempt was using my work email rather than my own (I use a .uk domain, which confuses some systems..)

Fensport offer it in white, black, red or unpainted.

For those of you that do not want to drill a hole, there is a guide for installing the BRZ without the screws just uses the 3M tape. Give me a shout and I can dig it out if needed.

Could be a solution for those on PCP and don't want to make modifications until the car is theirs. Although, not sure how easy it would be to take off.
 
Now anxiously awaiting guidance on delivery estimates beyond just the 12/13 week stated on order page. Some seem to have had a further email or were these last weekends orders?

Likely colour dependent?

Manual Silver Confirmed :-)

The website is a pain, only hovering over the new cars gives the GR86, clicking it means it vanishes. Because of all that my order was 10:16 rather than 10:01 but seems it should still be a summer delivery :-)

So…. I got there in the end. Declined finance and two calls to Toyota! Turns out they didn’t like my finance application a week after the dealer even though he assured me it would be fine.

Toyota told me to do a cash purchase and then they’ll link the finance from the dealer when they call in a few days.

Now need to make sure they can remove the declined finance from my credit report!

But I have a black manual ordered so all good!

Also wanted to say what a pleasant experience it has been on here reading the comments and all the help everyone has given to others especially the links today.
Im also a member on the Lotus Emira forum and there is nothing but bitching and whining about Lotus / Order / Comms etc and Lotus have been much better than Toyota.
So all in all, thanks to you lot and @AndyRC in particular for help, without this forum I'd be waiting for that email from 'sign up for more info' and probably missing out!!

Anyone know what document to upload for a private plate if it's currently on the car I'm trading in?

I don't have the V778 retention as it's still on the vehicle...?

I had the V750 because I hadn't put it on a car before, you might have to put your car plates on retention before you put it on something else... assume you get another Cert once its on Retention?

I just entered the reg and left the Retention Upload bit blank. The dealer will handle the first registration anyway, so I will give them the doc ahead of time. I just let my dealer know he would be registering with a private plate, and he said "no probs".

You will need to put it on retention first before you can assign it to another vehicle. It's fairly straightforward and can be done online.

Buy a private (personalised) number plate, assign it or transfer it to a vehicle - renew or update your entitlement certificate.
