I’ve gone with white / manual, and I think I’ll stick with it.
Whenever possible, I’ve bought cars in their national racing colours. So, blue for France, grey or silver for Germany... and white for Japan.
I blame my father’s sage advice, a childhood spent wandering motor museums and a chronic lack of imagination. Plus I will never forgive myself for dithering over a brand new Champ White FK8 Type R which a friendly dealer was practically willing to donate to me in the good old days before the plague.

I’d imagine 98 recommended and 95 minimum? Like most lower end performance models. If it’s 98 minimum my fuel bill is about to go up…

I like most of the GR86 colours, it's a good looking car no matter what, you can't go wrong. I went for silver myself as it reminds me of a S2000 Silverstone Silver that I really enjoyed in the past, looked great especially on a wet day with a lot of light reflection that nicely articulated some of the body lines, I hope it won't turn out to be another flat silver like on some budget city cars
Yeah preferred/recommended is 98RON but can run fine on 95RON with 10% Ethanol without any issues. Topic is covered on the US forums with their equivalents.

New member here, I’ve got a £500 deposit down for an Electric blue manual (cast my vote already). My salesman at RRG (GR centre too) said they only had four orders lined up for when the order books open which is less than I expected.
In regards to fuel I’ve always run my performance cars on super unleaded, it’s not a massive amount extra per tank in the grand scheme of things.

I put my reservation fee down on Monday morning 11th Apr and at that point I was No.12 on the list with likely Mr No.13 scheduled for sit down shortly after me
but I'm sure it will vary a lot dealer to dealer, so do not panic and stop calculating number of dealerships in UK vs build allocation

When they said w/c 11th April did they specify a year? 
No response from my dealer to an email I sent today.
I see there's a double-page advert in Car magazine for the GR range including the 86, hopefully our orders are sorted before the magazine and YouTuber hype starts!

From the launch pack I was shown, “dynamic media drives” are scheduled for sometime in May. Guessing this is the YouTube stuff.When they said w/c 11th April did they specify a year?
