Official TGB Product Launch Bulletin, 2026 MY GR Yaris, incl Aero Performance Model details.

Very limited Aero Performance Model allocation. Limited to 1 customer order for either Standard or Aero model available to each UK Toyota GR centres. Orders for these cars have to placed by Friday 14th November.

No factory options available for the Aero Model. Spec is as per Standard model, but no heated seats for the Aero model.

Colours for Aero model are as Standard model.

I have managed to secure an Aero model for a long term customer of mine, who also owns a 2021 Gen 1 Circuit Pack. Huge plans already in place for his Aero Performance Model.

Puts it into perspective👍 Given only 1 Standard or Aero Performance Model can be ordered by any of these GR centres, these are going to be a rare sight in the UK.

To quote from the TGB MY26 Product Bulletin. "Further allocation is expected in 2026 but is pending supply confirmation and will remain extremely limited".
 
Yeah agreed on limited supply unless Theres a U-turn from the government this will only get less and less we’ve gone from over a 1,000 a year to 300 in the last year and currently 60 ordered for next year. It makes you wonder if the GR Corolla will be sold here.
 
Got some interesting technical information today about the changes to the engine/drivetrain due to the new EU emission standard. See below some translated information from my Swedish dealer:

Technical changes from October production:
  • Adaptation to Euro6e-bis regulations
  • Horsepower: no change
  • Max torque: from 390 Nm to 345 Nm (−45 Nm)
  • Automatic transmission (AT) removed (does not meet Euro6e-bis)
This also counts for 2026 UK models I suppose.

That clearly explains why the GRY Auto is not on sale in Europe anymore.
Prices going up for our used GRYs Auto, maybe? 😁

It would be logical. Generally at least here in Slovakia its getting harder and harder to sell manual cars with people preferring autos, even in performance models. Uncle could not sell manual JCW Mini in mint condition for months without going seriously under the original price.

In general economy on our continent (with main countries like France and Germany struggling) is heading into really bad times. Economic stagnation combined with strict green policies and taxation harassment are definitely going to bring multiple years of cuts and issues for any automaker selling performance models in Europe. I expect nearly all performance models from all main makers (not only Toyota) being axed or extremely limited for our region. In my opinion even models like next gen GR86, Miata and so on will not be present in European market. Just looking at Hyundai with their N division, its ridiculous that there is whole production of I30n set up in Czech Republic, however they are not selling them within EU at all. I would not be surprised if bedrock models like Golf GTI would not make it, these will be really hard years not only in automotive industry.

Only survivor is probably M division from BMW which sells like hotcakes, but that is fueled by utter disaster cause by AMG and Audi dropping the ball in nearly all of their performance models.
 
That Aero pack is cheap but as there is drop in engine power it is not that interesting. but at least UK get's the long awaited heated seats and steering so we should celebrate!

That horsepower drop within EU is really sad.

I'm with you on that, Ogier edition wing looks way nicer imo, it's nice it's adjustable though

Information on the Estonian Toyota website contradicts with other pages on the website as well as the price list. Info I got from Toyota Sweden is 'only' a drop in torque of -45Nm, but power output remaining the same at 280hp. Curious to see what is actually correct.

Yeah in my opinion they could have picked nicer design (maybe the one used on Rovanpera edition), but also I think for a road car I really like the silhouette of basic yaris. Also as a WRC fan, rally 1 version kinda ruined all more down to earth rear wings for me :ROFLMAO:
