GR86 Spoilers

What type of spoilers have everyone gone with?

I keep trying to decide which way to go with one, I am very tempted by a CF styled duck bill, there seem to be a few brands in the US around $300 but you pay the same for postage. Over here they all seem to be £800+ or an ebay special...

The ebay specials are catching my eye though, has anyone given one a go? Are they going to be too good to be true????

I am thinking a few CF touches to finish the car, Spoiler, vents, wing mirrors and front lip.

As good quality as OEM, no but very very close. Fits perfectly. Loses marks on finish. Lets summarise at this: 95% OEM for 25% OEM money. I'm more than happy with that!

Thanks! Do you know which person/store you used on Ali express? I don’t think I’ve ever actually ordered from it before so I’m a bit nervous!

I did wonder about going black but I don’t think it’s different enough on a pavement grey body.

GR86 - Some pics of my work in progress.

Got mine in early August and so far covered 380miles. It's a weekend car for me, so getting the miles on it to run in will take time! Done a few mods on it so far, front lip, rear duck tail, 20mm spacers (the 2 full car pics are before spacers and Brembo), Brembos at Front, Carbon Exhaust...

Finally went for it and ordered one from eBay which was pretty close price wise to the Ali express one.
It’s not perfect with a few small marks but that’s what you get at that price point I guess.
Overall pretty excited to get it on the car and really like the look on a dry run attached!

I’ve picked up some 3M 5952F tape but that recommends a temp above 15degrees which I don’t think is happening any time soon!

I also picked up a front splitter from HT Auto and plan to wrap that in 3M CF this week too!

I bought this one on ebay. It was a bit of a gamble but I thought id give it a go for £200. It arrived on Saturday after a month wait, was extremely well packaged, and although I havent fitted it yet the finish and quality is amazing. Really happy with it and sure it will look good on my Magnetite Grey 86.
