GR86 So what else could you buy new for the same money (a fun thread)?

Time for an update to this "what you can bought new for the same money as a GR86" thread malarkey.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you a vehicle which I had never heard of before, which can be purchased today for £31,995:

What is this strange mash-up of ancient Nissan Micra, Fiat 500, and MINI's ugly second cousin, you are probably asking?

Well, it's called (and this is it's real name - someone has signed this off) - The ORA FUNKY CAT. That's the real name.

It's so sh!t, even those who tend to celebrate sh!t cars think it's sh!t.

You might be wondering how I became aware of this product.

Well, I'm ashamed to confess that a family member is acquiring one. This is an actual blood relative.

Let's remind ourselves - it is thirty two thousand pounds.

My only hope it that the manufacturer links up with a popular South Korean car company, which will allow for some amusing fruit-based beverage puns*.

*This can be explained for readers who are from overseas, young, or just a bit thick
Jonny Smith reviewed the Funky Cat and didn't hate it...

Well it is automatic, as a no cost non-option. So it is comparable to the GR86 auto in terms of price and number of wheels. A tough choice.

I saw these advertised and had to check the name twice. Not something I would own but I like it, it looks a bit fun, a bit playful, has a modern retro vibe and is definitely more interesting than the soul destroying domestic appliances coming out of VW or generally most bloated stuff from Europe.
Fair enough and a good point re. the identikit Euro VAG stuff

I've seen more 0RAs in the wild than GR86s, I've seen seen 1 ORA. I assumed they'd be cheaper.

While the rear seats are decent overall by small electric car standards, the Funky Cat's boot is tiny, with a capacity of just 228 litres

The GR86 is 226L. It's almost impressive they've managed to get such a small boot on a hatchback that size.
