GR Yaris Should I have a service book?

The used GRY I''ve recently purchased didn't have a service book with it. The owner didn't think there was one and that the records are now all digital. Looking for clarification on this please.

Here’s an example of mine:

Vehicle delivered 07 Dec 2020 - correct

It was also delivered with no audio working (I took delivery and did the run in) and 3 days later they’d had found a fuse was missing on another car with the same issue so fitted it) this is recorded as 30 Sep
2021

18 June 21 - repair - nope was a Toyota recall

24 Jul - check and report on notchy whe - and that’s all there is. What actually happened is they confirmed the notchy gear and adjusted the linkage.

I have since moved service department and their entry has been spot on but then they’ve only had to do one service.

Thanks for the replies.;

I've got the leather wallet with the owner's manual and one or two other bits of paper, but no service book.

Any suggestions as to how I would go about getting a replacement?

Give your local dealer a call/pop in they’re may be a few but I imagine a friendly dealer would give you one 🤞
 
i have one Thank God, because every time I buy an oil filter or the like from the dealer, a reparatur is entered digitally. Although nothing has ever been repaired on my car at 5000km.... I prefer the dear old stamp and a dealer's signature in the service book.
 
Just checked even though it’s had a few visits to dealer there is only one stamp in mine.
