GR Yaris Ships in Transit

Nothing new in transit but a few updates on stops along the way.

Anyone waiting for a car that could be on one of these ships?

Seems we haven't had many updates either from the dealers or the App in while to "in transit"

Yeah, saw that, along with talk of it and its contents (GT3 RS, anyone?) being marine salvage for anyone brave/stupid enough to try and claim it.
Maybe I'm stupid but once those chassis hit the water they are practically worthless.

After a year of seeing your updates, its getting close to me maybe being able to adopt a ship (or two) of my very own!

With my car due in April, I guess it'll land in Livorno/Sagunto around end of March/beginning of April, meaning it should leave on the next couple of ships out of Nagoya?

(WW III permitting, obvs)

Yes I'd expect mid/late March.

UK is 20 ish days from off the boat to dealer, assume EU is similar - I'd expect it would be a Zebrugge drop-off for Luxemburg.

It could already be on a boat at that rate. Morning Cornet would be Zeebrugge 22nd/23rd March, Cape town Highway, should be at Zeebrugge around the 3rd/4th April.

Are you able to follow it on MyT? That said I see some my T updates have gone straight from in prep to arrived in-country recently.

Thanks. I didn't realise there were other European stops not listed. Makes more sense. Do they go to the UK first, then Zeebrugge/Rotterdam?

And the importer here doesn't support MyT for order/delivery updates so I have to guess. All I (or the dealer) have to go on is the expected date of '04_2022' in their order system.

Yes, they go from us to Zeebrugge. Then onto the Nordics.

My guess is it's on a boat then.

'citing! Thanks.

I'll be watching the ships with interest then, and hope that the Russian Navy don't take an interest at any point 😬

Mine arrived to Sagunto Port last wednesday morning. It is less than 400 km from dealer where i bought the car and my order is still in transit and the car even documents didnt arrive.
How long does It take this?
I am a bit tired about that. I am going on a trip Next 10th march for 10 days and didnt want to leave car on the dealer but It wont have time enough to register It 🙁

No idea in Spain, it’s about 20 days in UK from off the boat to delivery.

It is a little crazy that Toyota can build the thing in 10 days, but to takes the importer twice that to move it a few hundred km, take some plastic film off, and over-inflate the tyres

I suspect it's all the waiting about it does on route. It's a day from port to derby, can't imagine there is much work to do at derby so let's say a day and then a day back to the dealer. 3 days work and 17 waiting for something to happen.
