That is encouraging. At the current time the computer is reporting 27mpg but thats purely down to me getting used to the car. I know performance has to come from somewhere. Both my Hilux and Lancruiser have 80litre tanks and return 40mpg so its just a case of me getting used to filling more often. Thanks fir the reply.
Spirited. I can't say however that I will be doing that all the time, if that makes sense - on a short little blast 50% would be giving it some beans. I'm very rural so only have heavy right foot when I can see clearly really.
So after trying all sorts to remove the white bloom from my roof with no success I have now sorted it. Almost in desperation I used some black beeswax shoe polish and went over the whole roof. Liberally wiped it on with a soft cloth then after a short while polished it off with a clean cotton cloth. Just as Mr Miaggi said to do. The roof has come up like new and as a bonus the rain now beads and runs off leaving no water marks. Also the bird poop does not stick either. The polish has not changed or affected the colour or look of the roof which is nice.
From what I understand the strut towers are different between Gen 1 and Gen 2 Yarises. On the Gen 2 the Damper is mounted using three screws as opposed to one in the middle. On a Gen 1 there are mounting points for a strut brace that are easily visible and the strutbar seems to look like a Gen 1 at first glance.
