GR86 Seat Lowering

Has anyone fitted a seat lowering kit for the GR86? I am 6ft tall, have the seat at its lowest position and still find it a little too high.
Any kit recommendations and reaction to the results/comments on the fitting of the kit and the additional amount the seat drops would be appreciated.

I'd like to know too but I can see me going to replace the seats with lower lighter ones if I can retain the airbag and heated functions.

Not seat related but the thread linked below has a comments from a taller driver saying it made an improvement to the driving position.

The instructions will come with it and this is a video:


However thought I'd share a few things I learned from the install:

• Be gentle with everything and take your time. Follow the written instructions and watch a few videos before starting. If you are close or you hit something with a tool, stop and tape it up, takes 2 seconds and saves permanently marking something.

I go through phases of wanting a slightly lower seat too - was there something GT86 owners did, like taking the seat out and stretching a support on the underneath, effectively lowering the seat cushion? Or an MX5 style foamectomy would possibly work?? You go first

My biggest gripe with the cabin as a taller than average bloke is the reach and rake adjustment on the column. I’ve looked at those spacers a few times but I can’t help but feel I’d rather switch out the standard wheel for a nice dished Nardi instead.
