GR86 Rubber Floor Mats

Although not rubber, I've just found some GR86 3D Kagu floor liners for both the MT and AT that are available from 3D Mats UK. They are also on Facebook here. They are advertised as Waterproof.
The graphic shows 'New Arrival, Pre-order' but, it's the first brand that I've seen that isn't LHD or based in the USA (these are from Taiwan). They're advertised at £139, which is comparable to Tuxmat and WeatherTec. I think I may take a punt ...
EDIT: I've placed an order. Choice of Free Delivery or Flat rate of £5 .. Duh, Free of course!

I just ordered a set of these, it's getting to that time of year and the mats are looking a bit tatty. The carpet ones can go in the garage and be rotated along with the Michelin PS4s 😁
Arrived today and fitted. Brilliant fit, quality and VFM in my opinion. Very pleased.

Good to hear that. Would you be able to post some pictures for the forum when you have a chance?

Mine are supposed to be delivered on Thursday. Looking forward to replacing the flimsy OEM ones.

Another recommendation for these mats.

I'm not keen on the usual type of rubber mats and although I would prefer carpet mats, I'm really impressed with these. As Stardus. says the fit is perfect and the lip around the edges stops dirt going onto the carpet below.

They're not rubberised but more like a textured plastic on top with a tough carpet-like material on the underside. That's the best way I can describe them!

Really easy to clean too.

Here's a couple of pics...

Thanks for that further recommendation and for taking the time to add some photos, much appreciated!
Did you get the steel heel plate from RPM Pe that place in Norwich (who’s name shall not pass my lips again) or elsewhere?

Yes it was from That Place That Shall Not Be Named :)

It's decent quality but not sure if I'm going to get on with it. I only fitted it yesterday and used it for one drive, but found my right foot slips a bit on it.

I'll carry on using it but if there's no improvement I'll look at adding some texture to it or a layer of something that will give better grip.

Thanks for reviewing. I really like these mats but they are £100 more than the rubber ebay ones. This may be a decision that i'll regret and be thinking buy once, cry once.

Thanks for the review, just ordered a set 👍

Compared to the JDM mats, the UK mat are utterly horrible. It's kinda expected as they cost pennies to replace at the dealers too, where as the nicer JDM mats are over 100GBP

Proably the worst OEM cars mats I have had, but also the only one that is free with the car too

Topcashback is offering 20% off eBay, so ordered a set so only costing me £28. Bought a set previously for the MX5 and been great, agree good VFM.

Quick question: what with these being kind of plastic, do the mats start to show scratches at all with use? Not sure my OCD could take it if they do . Thanks :)
