GR86 Road bike in the boot

Has anybody managed to get a road bike in the boot?

Picking mine up tomorrow and I might have to ride there. It looks like it should fit, but would like to confirm before I set off!
 
Both wheels off and back end through passenger door possibly. You could do through boot but I've got a limited steerer on mine so couldn't when I tried.

Which bike do you have? Sounds like a SystemSix if it's a limited steerer...
 
Also curious about this if you can let us know the outcome 👍

Yes I do. I think the GR is a long way behind the Alpine, but I'll know more in due course. The GR was bought as my token gesture towards being a family car!!
 
If I take the front wheel off, my Sirrus x4 with 60cm bars goes in the boot fine (y)
