Event [Rescheduled] Now at Oulton Park 30th November All Toyota Track Day (Was at Donington Park Wednesday 16th November)

Can anyone confirm if the GR86 is at Oulton today, and if so, which colour it is. Thanks! Was thinking of popping over at lunch for a peek
 
Popped in for a very quick look. Surprised how quiet the paddock was. If the track was similarly quiet then that is a bargain track day!
 
Thanks to all who made it a fab day today. Was great to see some of my old friends and make new ones. I enjoyed doing passenger rides all day, sorry if I missed anyone. Was crazy busy either lapping or chatting with everyone. Also got a ride in Adrian's (Fensport) car which was a lot of fun and made for a mad experience given I couldn't see over the dash as the seat was so low! It was fast though, very fast in high boost mode and I got to watch Adrian drive. His car looked pretty easy to handle which is a good sign. He's asked me to review it and after going in it, I'm very interested in doing that and not particularly scared by it. I didn't feel I had time to drive it today so will hopefully have another day either at a sprint or another Toyota track day where I can plan better and have a good go of his car. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my own car today, though had a load of reduced power warnings, so disconnected the tuning box which sorted that. My EBC Blu Stuff pads have been absolutely fine on sprints, but seemed to really struggle after two or three flying laps. I could drive round it and thought I wasn't being particularly heavy on them, but it does make me think that the pads are struggling after a just a few laps.

The Yokohama V107 tyres held up really well and gave a good amount of grip and remained predictable lap after lap with a nice progression to them. I really loved playing with the chassis balance of the car and it was great to get back into the groove as this is the first time I've done a full track day in my car, having had two seasons of sprinting. It was nice to share the joy with a passenger or five for a change. I will certainly be up for doing more Toyota Track Days with Javelin and I know Adrian from Fensport is keen too. :)

Great day out, enjoyed learning what to do at Oulton. I am certainly no expert but the GR encourages my inner hooligan in a good way! Thanks to this forum for introducing me to some great guys which made the experience so much more than just a track day.
 
Had a great day - and always good seeing friends new and old. The little Yaris was lovely and rapid, and I flippin' loved loved LOVED Oulton Park. I will defo make the trek up again.
 
It was a fantastic day, if a tad chilly when not in the car, even for us Northern shep botherers.

Nice to meet some new faces too. See you at the next one (y)

I put on an old set of tires for this thinking they would be worn out after the morning, but they weirdly have around the same amount of tread on as when I started, between 1.6 mm and 3mm. My new pads however tell a different story

Hopefully Grant and his mate got home safe and haven’t been to badly shook up after what was a big enough bump.
Thanks for the loan of a corner of the garage for my stuff. None of which I used all day.

Are they OEM pads? That looks like a lot of wear for one day!
