Thought would be useful to start a new thread for those of us still waiting and have questions.

As mentioned in another thread, looking at the pics of the rear bumper on several dealer demo cars there are 4 pilot holes/divots on the rear bumper, presumably for JDM spec square plates. Question is for those that have collected, does your car have these too and if you had the plate lower would it cover them?

Yes, divots in-situ

Took a photo in the showroom especially for you.

Hard to see from a photo though…
Yeah, hard to see in that pic, maybe some are worse than others? Is it noticeable in the flesh?

Has anyone queried/pushed dealers for a fix for these holes?

I’ll be honest they will annoy the life out of me
Only way to fix it (properly) is to drop the bumper, fill the holes and respray the whole bumper. I wouldn’t want that on a brand new car though, a real chance the colour match will be slightly out and possibly the finish wouldn’t be as good as OEM which would annoy me even more. Might be possible to hide it with a bigger plate or a square JDM type plate.

Wait so delivered customer cars also have these holes, or are we talking demonstrator cars only?

That’s what I was trying to work out, most of the pics of dealers cars seem to have them, though some more noticeable than others. Looks like @Kenco has them on his car, but strangely only 2 holes visible rather than 4.

Another question for owners, tell us how well they have undersealed it? TIA.

Well I picked mine up today, it was pretty filthy and going dark, but as far as I could see mine didn’t have any holes or divots, although they had stuck the plate on a bit lower down than on other cars I’ve seen. Will investigate in the morning.
