Hi All,
Any advice appreciated as not done this for a while.
So I bought a new numberplate registration from one of the numberplate resellers.
They asked if it was for a new car or used, I said I wasn't sure yet, so they said they would send me the retention certificate but if it was for a new vehicle they would need another 7 days to add me as nominee later.
I receive the retention certificate, it has the resellers company name on, and someone else on the nominee.
It looks like I can just go online and enter the digits to get it assigned to the vehicle, they've signed box 1 the purchaser box and dated, and also box 6 signed and dated.
Does that sound right, I always thought they would put my name and address on the certificate of entitlement so I can choose what to with it?
