GR86 Post your best update to your GR86 so far

Just ran out to the car and did it. Makes a surprising improvement. Might also make it a tad easier to see past the ducktail, too dark to tell at the moment.

I see Mod Society have a dual unit which opens and closes the windows as well as operating the mirrors. I wonder if this would work as well as your mirror one? Does this instal affect the warranty?

You can get the dealer to set the fob to operate the windows from the fob, a fair few of us got this done at collection when new.
 
Best modification so far? The Cobra Sports non resonated Cat-Back exhaust. Now that the car is run-in and I can use the full rev range the exhaust has simply come alive - I can even make it pop and bang on the downshift if I'm feeling naughty 🤭

I did try at Jemca in Bracknell but after a couple of hours they said it couldn't be done.

Try another dealer, it definitely can be done as quite a few on here will attest to.

I did it myself at home in under 10 minutes with Techstream and a laptop. I also did the same for @AWB after a coffee, whilst we were sitting in a car park - job done in a few minutes. Obviously ‘Jemca’ doesn’t have a frickin’ clue what they’re doing.

That's the impression I got. I even gave them the information I got from the internet to where the software would be found.

Thanks. I read through all. I'm amazed how not all dealerships can do these customisations. I think perseverance is my solution.

I had convinced myself that I didnt need the Carlinkit wireless until the nice chap from Amazon bought me one today!!
He is also coming later in the week with some Focal speakers!!
