Hi All,

Just got an annual reminder from Toyota finance which got me thinking what to do when the term comes to an end.
For those who went for the £299 per month PCP at the start, what are your plans at the end of the year term in about 18 months. I think they underestimated the minimum guaranteed value so figures crossed the car will be worth more as other threads have discussed.

Do you plan to pay it off and possibly keep forever, hand it back and walk away, get another short term loan for the rest or sell it to pay off the PCP and take the cash for something else?

🤔

What sort of guaranteed value did they put on these deals, about 50% at 3 years maybe £15k or so?

A GR86 with low mileage at 42 months you would think it would retail for maybe £25k, so trade in maybe around £22k, so you should be able to have some equity back out of it.

Agree these cars are nearly at there leveling out point that being about 25k and depreciation will be glacial from there due to the 10year warranty there’s no risk buying one. Unlike just about anything else intresting
