GR86 Number plate MOT fail

Just had my GR86 serviced and MOT tested at Guildford Toyota Centre.

All OK apart from MOT major defect due to number plates

The reason was I had affixed UK stickers to side of dealer supplied plate for a Europe trip.

Luckily they removed and moved over, as apparently too close to letters, then passed.

Still shows as having failed online with subsequent pass.

I don't understand the necessity to fail based on a sticker that they then move and pass you. It's illogical bs

We had a Corolla that went in for a service and MOT. We asked them to change the front wiper blades whilst it was in.

They failed the car for the wiper blades...

The reason given? It helps with the dealer MOT figures because they rarely had MOT failures.

Mrs went absolutely mental and once the failure is on the system it can't be removed.
