Fook me the main beam is amazing lights the whole countryside up.
They are great for a 'supermini' but for twisty roads I still couldn't see anything into bends so I got a wide shining light bar (vid)
Sure, but my base rule for driving still is, if I can't see through the bend, I can't go on the throttle and night drives became pretty dull....Looks good. Although to be fair we are less likely to encounter 500kg of moose hidden around a dark bend than you are.
You’re not wrong about the full beam lights on these. Best I’ve experienced. Makes a huge difference to spirited night time drives, of which I am a big fan. Not sure I trust that auto function not to blind people though![]()
It's funny how much opinions vary so much on something like this. The GR is by far the most modern and expensive car I've ever owned, and yet on dark twisty country roads, I find the headlamps aren't that great. They somehow manage to be dazzlingly bright/white, and the reflections from road signs etc are startling, and yet at the same time somehow don't light up the road particularly well or where I'd like it.
Agreed on the road signs they are blinding on full beam .It's funny how much opinions vary so much on something like this.
