Looks like a Perth car?
Deffo so glad I chose the Scarlet Flare well the best colour cannot wait till we have good weather and the sun hits itWhat a stunner . Scarlet flare is the best colour imo . Enjoy![]()
Cheers mate. It is so so worth the wait today has been awesome . Wow Dec 2020 and I thought I had a wait from Feb 2021. Hope it flies in for you.Awesome mate, looks great! I'm waiting on July into New Zealand after putting name down in Dec 2020, so I'm gonna really enjoy it. Cheers
First one I have seen and does seem rarer in Scarlet.A rare sight - a Scarlet Red on a 22 plate.![]()
I love the contrast between the Roof and black trim with the Red. Totally the right colour choice.Scarlet red looks so good! The contrast against the roof is spot on
Enjoy your GR![]()

Looks great ! Love how the scarlet flare looks deep red in some light and red/ orange in some others lights. Does it really drive that good ??!! forgotten as it’s a year since my test drive !I love the colour.

Then off for a drive to get the miles up. Gentle (Ish) driving into Fife to where I grew up and I know the roads like the back of my hand. This car loves corners it actually blew me away and I am still running it in. Cannot wait to give it the full beans.
Now at 250 miles and had to fill her up 43 miles left and took £60 to fill it.
Did the Caramics interior protection spray on carpet and away out now to do the seats.
Tomorrow and Tuesdays job is to fir the PPF and Ceramic coat the rest.
That’s good to hear ! Can’t wait , ordered same spec and colour as you , ordered mid April last year , should be by September but hopefully sooner . I also think the rally flaps on your look great . Think I may do the same .Yeah I love that about the red also can’t wait for some decent sunshine
Yes it drives amazing just brilliant I too was a year ago I test drove it and even going easy it feels so tight the steering is so positive with good feel the brakes are other worldly amazing and the pull even with little throttle blew me away again. The gearbox shift is proper rally car positive. The noise albeit piped in and a twisty B road earlier actually made the hairs on my arm stand up.
I bloody love it and I did say to the missus I would wait 2 years for a car like this. You will not be disappointed hang in there - when do you expect yours?
Took it to see the brother in law today who has a 911 GT3 on order and it blew him away he loves the colour, the chunky stance and the drive. Says it’s the best new car he has seen in years and he has had plenty fast Audi’s, Porsches etc….
I ordered the plain white, as I'd had loads of black cars before, and the red online looked really dull and bland......Yeah I love that about the red also can’t wait for some decent sunshine![]()
Looks great! It’s so satisfying working on a brand new car too. Feels a lot more relaxing driving it after it’s got the mudflaps and the paint protection sorted!Right spent hours and hours today fitting PPF and ceramic coating.
Washed it with Citrus pre wash, then Polar blast snow foam then polar clean. Used over 10 microfibres
Dried with auto finesse drying towel then on to PPF.
@Sticky The PPF was awesome I was a bit daunted at first as I tried to tint windows years ago and it was to be honest crap. Just took my time and it all went on great, hardest one was the boot lid section getting it to fold over the top and bottom but I got there. The spoiler, sills and extended rear arch PPF was OK and I am well happy with the result.
Then onto the Auto Finesse Caramics ceramic coating. One panel at a time with prep spray first then the ceramic coating and all buffed off after the 5 minute hold time. Again used over 10 microfibres
Just finished at 22:30 so here are some pics from inside the garage for those who are interested.
I will take more tomorrow outside.
Cheers.
