January will be the next allocation to Toyota UK. How many they get and how they decide to allocate cars is unknown but they have suggested offering to those who were unlucky in the ballot if popular.

Toyota Switzerland doesn't use the app and isn't willing to let it run. But I nag my dealer and that's how I get the information. Mine should be on the California highway now, and is on its way to Singapore.

Or there is also the Italian way: they run the App, but it never works, and the dealer guesses random dates for the delivery... :mad:

Ah yeah it looks like Slovenia copied your system. But they are saying, you will see it in the app before we see anything. I think there will be call from dealer one day: "Hey dude, your car is here for a month, why don't you come collect it?"

Yours could look like a joke, but actually something very similar is happening to me...
My car has been on a car transporter directed from Sagunto (Spain) to Italy since 27th June, according to the last email from Toyota Italia.
After that email, just the sound of silence.
I'm figuring my car is currently enjoying a very long tour of Europe, courtesy of Toyota Italia, and when it will finally be done with its unexpected holidays (and that could explain why my dealer gave me a mysterious mid August ETA) I will finally be able to pick my car up, covered with stickers from all European Countries like a happy tourist's backpack.
I don't know if I feel like laughing or crying about this insanely troubled delivery... 🫠

Hi Inversed, did you order a new one? I have ordered it in April and they said exactly the same to me. Don't really trust MyToyota app it says Order in process and one time I opened it and it said something like You have no new purchases and later in that day the order was visible again.

Yeah I ordered it as soon as they started taking orders here. Did you also order in Slovenia, if you did, send me a PM.

I got some information from dealer that in their system it says October, they didn't know if that means the build date or delivery. I will be updated on this info.
I'm just happy that it looks like it will be here this year and not next summer.

Also in Italy: Ordered on March16th, zero info all those months, finally a surprise delivery today (Nov29th)

Winter tyres mounted this afternoon, then had to immediately show her around her new place! She loves it!

Not jealous at all that you are in the Dolomites. Beautiful place to drive a great car.

I had a call from Toyota on Monday offering me a chance to buy a MK2, has anyone else been contacted?

I was not successful in the ballot but must have been high up on the waiting list, these must be ones that have fallen through...

Anyone else?

I’ve seen someone on Pistonheads and a few on the forums. I’m guessing they work down the list as people decline.

I know my dealer has taken delivery of a 2nd mk2 after mine when originally I was their only order.
