GR86 How to get headlight washers to spray??

My headlight washers had frozen half open this morning, after spraying them with de-icer and driving around for a few hours they’ve gone back in. How do I test if they are working? I’ve put the lights on and used the screen washer, but they don’t seem to be doing anything - either covers opening or screen wash being sprayed.

Wanting to test they haven’t been damaged by the ice - think the dealer must have used summer screen wash.

Unexpected things happen when you, sometimes through a helpful forum member, RTFM ;)

PS: no headlight washers on GRY, wish I had this problem...

Did look through the paper manual, but couldn’t find anything. Think the online version might be longer
