GR Yaris Hello there

its quite fun and challenging. it could have more fast corners but its quite good combination.
I visited Kymiring last year just for a look from the entrance on my way to Imatra for road racing. looks like a fun circuit. Are they planning to build the grandstands and finishing it now? I know its now changed owners. Would of been cool to have MotoGP/F1 so close.

I haven't heard any plans for the moment but hope they have a goal to finalize the track to be ready for bigger events. at least for RR it must be quite challenging track!
There is more races this summer so hope it boosts the plans for future activities aswell.

FIM MX GP World championships race is at Kymiring 12.-13.7.2025

Also FIA World Raclly Cross event 23.-24.8.2025

Nice lap (y)
Is it tricky to use RaceBox overlay? what camera do you use?
its bit cumbersome but doable. sync needs to be done in mobile app which is bit bugger.
I'm using insta 360x2. racebox does the overlay automatically once you have the video loaded in their cloud and you have synced the video with data.

Rally Cross is tempting! Might bring the boy over.

glueing the nets yesterday in bit of a hurry but hopefully they stick - need to refine today if there is some loose bits but trusting to this glue to be quite powerful.
short recap of install

friend was helping in preparations.
the provided stencil was not the greatest but what cannot two engineers resolve together.
the stencil is for complete hood but we decided just to use another half and mirror it to the another side - this way it was ment to be with same dimensions as old one
cutting of hood was tricky as its so thin and soft material. its really light hood, so its worth being very careful. did one mistake when cutting inner bits but that's life. just cosmetics.
fun to see the benefits how it works in real life.

we managed to keep the hood support in use so overall quite haappy with the cutouts and structure. didn't cut as much as there was possible as thought its better to keep some of the hood form in place to maintain the rigidity and structure (mostly the rear beam part)

Wasn't patient enough with net glueing so it didn't result as it should.
Well, need to fix it at some other time.
did first test run and they seem to release quite bit of hot air.
