GR86 Gremlins or heat got them?

Spent a bit of time cleaning the car this morning.

When cleaning the wheels all the balancing weights (all four corners) have gone, all that was left is the sticky residue from the stick on’s.

Now I accept that the car does sit in the sun, but would simple sun heat be enough to pop them off?

All very odd, but nothing £30-£40 won’t resolve.

I had a similar situation with a previous car shortly after the wheels had been refurbed. Walking past the car on the drive I noticed one of the wheel weights wedged between two of the wheel spokes. I guess it had become unstuck while the car was parked. So I picked it up and arranged to take the car back to get that wheel re-balanced. I didn't notice any vibration, it was one of the front wheels, but it was a max speed of 40 mph so probably not a high enough speed to be noticeable.

If the wheels were balanced in the last few months might it be worth contacting the garage and enquiring about a free/concession re-balance?

That is odd, sometimes the odd one falls off, but not all of them.
I'll need to check mine.
