Spent way too long looking at knobs the past few evenings... I think you may be on to a winner here! Interested in how it turns out (y)

Glad it was a stress free install! I'm sure it's too early to say, but do you think it's worth the asking price? On the engineering and quality alone yes. Weather it's worth the price for me - I'll find out and let you know!

A few reflections on this having run it for a while - it looks awesome (obviously) every one is unique and you can choose your own colours.

They don't offer a reverse solution yet (on route) so currently just have a plastic spacer which works fine.

As with some other knobs this does move the whole thing higher and make the reverse harder to reach.

I love the way it looks but don't like reaching for reverse will be looking for a different solution for me.
 
I've ordered a Billetworkz custom lightbulb shape painted hyper blue which is close enough to the exterior colour and should be a nice splash of colour for the interior. I was a big fan of the weighted ZHP knob upgrade in my old Z4C so hoping this will have a similar effect.

Billetworkz must be wondering what is happening in the UK.

I ordered a red one to match the red JDM mats I have ordered.
I would have gone for the red JDM interior over our grey interior anyday.
 
So my Billetworkz gear knob arrived. It is very good. Also bought a "knob warmer" haha it's a little knitted beany hat for your gear stick for when its cold hahaha. Or you could just man up I guess? hahah. Went for a Type R for that JDM feel haha :p
Can confirm @ 420 grams compared to original 200, it makes a difference. Feels super smooth to change gear, way better.

Looks great! Seeing that fitted kind of makes me wish I went for for the sphere rather than lightbulb shape given that the lockout collar serves a similar purpose to the lightbulb neck but I'm sure it'll work well.

Sounds like we've all ended up with different colours too. Matte black sphere for me enroute.
