Mine left factory on 9th according to EDD and my del date to dealer has been brought forward to 1st Nov. Not sure that's happening.

Does anyone know how to track boats, its melting my head!
 
I'm one of the people that changed colour of their car and was supposed to be put at the end of the queue. What happened instead myT is showing that new car arrived in Portbury yesterday and est delivery date is set to Nov 16th.

So now myT is showing two cars as owned 😅

I presume you've added the first car's VIN manually into My Toyota portal and when you've changed it isn't automatically removed from your owned cars, then you were in the back of the queue for the new colour choice but someone with an allocated car has cancelled their order.

So much for trying to get a 24 plate car haha.

Sounds reasonable! Oh well, I'm not going to complain if it shows up earlier :)
 
My dealer has just phoned me to give me an update. Says he now has an ETA to him of 16th November. I feigned surprise, we've already seen that date, but it adds a little more certainty to hear it from the dealer. And its nice to have some personal contact made...he has said he will contact me with any further updates.

However he did also say that he expects it will probably be a little earlier than that as "it's Toyota and they have a tendency to under promise and over deliver"

I didn't say anything.

Oh dear - I just checked the devtools for this first time in ages and it now says 14/11/22, has everyone else moved back another month? :cry:

I do hope these dates are nonsense.......

Yes, it happened a couple of weeks ago. Just after I'd posted about being happy to expect the car "next month".
So it's my fault :D

pmsl @ "Smurf Blue"! (10:19 here but nothing yet) Quick update: Ran the website trick this morning and I now have an estimated delivery date of 8th December 2022 for my 10:19 confirmation. Yay. Double yay. Thrice Yay!

It definitely will be "next month", but it may be "next month" next month, or possibly "next month" another month in the future. I think.

Hearing 'GR86 deliveries starts next month' is just like the old 'free beer tomorrow' joke signs.

Tomorrow never comes and neither will our 86's. 🤣
 
Mid November is provisional, still no clarification as to what issue is or how it’s to be resolved.

Toyota’s prosuction quality experience if major issues, gr86 can’t be released to customers, bz4x is being repurchased and can’t be ordered or even test driven due to wheels falling off, even agyo x is on hold now due to a brake problem.

I'm looking at these comments and starting to think my 10.24 will be sooner than expected. A lady from the online team told me mid-late 2023. Now I'm beginning to wonder if it could be early 2023. 🤔
